September 9, 2012: PERILOUS Pre-Orders begin NOW! We're offering autographed (Jon, Fred, Alan and Steve) CDs and Limited Edition T-Shirts. The release date is October 23, 2012 and that is when the pre-orders will ship. To have enough time for Sound Resources to print the PERILOUS T-Shirts and have all four band members autograph the CDs, the T-Shirt and 4-member autograph offer will end on October 10. Be sure to place your order by then!

PERILOUS CDs ordered after October 10th but before the October 23rd Release Date will still be autographed by Fred and Steve, but the T-Shirt offer will expire on October 10. Click here for our store page.

November 12, 2009: Delicious Agony Progressive Rock Radio ( is proud to present an evening with American prog stalwarts, Glass Hammer, Wednesday November 18th at 7 PM EST. We will be featuring selections from Glass Hammer's new album, "Three Cheers For The Broken Hearted". We will also be featuring an exclusive interview with Steve Babb and Fred Schendel and selections from their past albums.


June 23rd, 2009: Matt Mendians, Fred Schendel, Steve Babb, David Wallimann and Susie Bogdanowicz begin rehearsals for the 3RP Prog Festival, and possibly one concert in the band's hometown - Chattanooga, TN. Work on a new album is also well underway. More details to come.


December 8th, 2008: GH to perform live at the Three Rivers Prog Festival in Pittsburgh, PA - August 9th - 2009.

February 2nd, 2008: Previously unreleased tracks are available for download on the GH SNOCAP Page.  These include the stereo audio tracks from the ‘Live At Belmont’ concert, and a brand new ballad featuring guest vocalist Robert Streets (co-producer of Culture of Ascent).

There is more on the way, including bonus tracks and remixes from the Culture of Ascent Recordings.  Expect to find all of these tracks on the SNOCAP Page, and on iTunes within the next few weeks. 

October 22, 2007: Tomorrow is the official release date for Culture of Ascent and The Compilations CD, but we've been shipping the pre-orders early. You either have yours now, or it's in the mail. This is also the cut-off date for autographed copies, but the songs remain the same. If you haven't placed an order, head to our store and get a copy today.


Sept 12, 2007:  The "You Asked For It!" Bundle is now available for pre-order.  Included:  "The Compilations" (previously only available on iTunes and only available on CD through this website), and the brand new studio album "Culture of Ascent."  See the store for details. 

Aug 5, 2007: The new album from Glass Hammer, Culture of Ascent, is scheduled for release in October 2007. Culture of Ascent contains 6 brand new masterworks from Glass Hammer, and guest features the renowned vocal talents of legendary Yes co-founder, Jon Anderson.
