Dec 1, 2006: It's time to rally the Glass Hammer fan base and ask for your vote. What vote, you ask? Silent Planet Radio is hosting an "interview your favorite band" competition, and Glass Hammer has been selected to participate during the month of December.

Please help GH win by voting as much as allowed ... each person can vote one time per week. No more and no less. Silent Planet Radio will disqualify all the votes from any person or persons it deems to be stuffing the ballot. So cast your vote today, and then once for each week throughout December. The competition runs from December 1 through December 31. The winning band will be announced during the first week of January 2007.

Coming to the historic 1,700 seat Tivoli Theater in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee – Glass Hammer’s home town – for two shows on October 17, 2006, 2:00pm matinee concert and 7:00pm evening concert. Aug 5 , 2006: The Classical Connection is a new hour-long Internet-based show that focuses on the blending of progressive rock and classical music. On Thursday, August 24, at 2:00pm Eastern Time (7:00pm GMT) the show will feature it's Choral Prog episode, including plenty of Glass Hammer's choral music. So be sure to tune in. Jul 5, 2006: We interrupt this regulary scheduled broadcast to let you know our favorite band, Glass Hammer, has won Tolkien’s Imperishable Flame Honors. At an awards ceremony held at the recent Gathering of the Fellowship in Toronto, The New York Tolkien Society, along with actors from The Lord of the Rings films by Peter Jackson, presented Glass Hammer with “The Imperishable Flame Award for Tolkien and Inklings Inspired Creativity”.

Long-time GH friend, Dr. Amy Sturgis, of Belmont University was on hand to accept the award on behalf of the band. She was also the winner in the Tolkien Scholarship category. On behalf of the entire band – thanks to the many fans who voted for Glass Hammer.
